Another rhino poached in Assam
Guwahati, June 30 (IBNS): Poachers killed another one horned rhino in Assam's Orang National Park and managed to flee with its horn.
The incident took place in the national park, where poachers killed a female rhino and shopped off its horn.
Forest guards of the park found the dehorned bullet injured carcass inside the park on Thursday morning.
“We suspect that poachers killed the rhino at least two days ago,” a forest official said.
Poachers killed 11 rhinos in the state in this year so far.
