Annual training camp of 60 Assam Girls Battalion NCC commence in Guwahati

Guwahati/IBNS: 60 Assam Girls Battalion NCC, a part of NCC Group Headquarters, commenced their week-long Annual Training Camp at South Point School, Guwahati on Tuesday.

120 Senior Wing girl cadets from 15 colleges of the city are attending the camp.

During this annual training camp, cadets will undergo weapon training, firing, physical fitness training, yoga, pranayama, games and other professional training activities.

Maj Gen Ananta Bhuyan, Additional Director General, NCC, North Eastern Region visited the camp and witnessed the training of the cadets.

He also interacted with cadets and was highly impressed by their training standards and zeal to learn. Brig JC Jalukdar, Group Commander, NCC Guwahati also accompanied the ADG.
