Andhra Pradesh: Three pilgrims run over by speeding lorry

Kurnool, Mar 27 (UNI) Three pilgrims were killed and four others were injured when speeding lorry run over them at Kappatralla village of the district on Wednesday.

Police said that a group of 42 pilgrims, hailing from Yerragudi village in Ballary district, were going to hill shrine Sri Sailam Shiva temple.


A speeding lorry run over them killing Uligaiah (30), Potulinga (23) and Sheku (16).

 

Four others including Devindra Reddy, Pothappa, Gadelinga and Nagaraju were injured in the mishap.


The injured were admitted to the government general hospital, where the condition of Devendra Reddy and Pothappa said to be critical.
