Andhra Pradesh: Four persons die, one critically injured as car rams into tree

Anantapur: At least four persons died and another was critically injured when the car in which they were travelling rammed into a tree at Ravivenkatapalle village in Tadipatri Mandal on Saturday.

Police said that one of the deceased Mohan Reddy bought a car on Friday.

On the occasion, he gave a party to his friends.

When they were returning from the party, the car rammed into a roadside tree killing Mohan Reddy (27), Vishnu Chowdary, Naresh Reddy (27) and Madhusagar Reddy (28) instantaneously.

Another person Srinivasa Reddy was critically injured in the accident.

The car was being driven at a high speed when the accident occurred, police said.

Sub-Inspector Mohammad Gouse visited the scene of the accident, registered a case and shifted the bodies to the Government General Hospital for post-mortem.
