Alert troops gun down 2 infiltrators near LoC in Kupwara

Srinagar, UNI/IBNS: Security forces killed two suspected infiltrators near the Line of Control (LOC) in Machil sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Sunday, police said.

 

They said Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police neutralized two militants near the LoC at Tekri Nar in Machil sector.

The identification and affiliation of the slain militants are being ascertained, Police added.

Two AK-27 rifles, 2 pistols, and 4 hand grenades were also recovered from the possession of the slain militants.

Further details shall follow, the police added.

“Army and Kupwara Police neutralized two terrorists near LoC Tekri Nar in Machil area of Kupwara.

Identification of the killed terrorists is being ascertained. 02 AK 47 rifles, 02 pistols & 04 hand grenades recovered. Further details shall follow”, Jammu and Kashmir police tweeted.
