Alert Railway men saves injured person lying inside Railway track near Bansberia

Kolkata, Mar 14 (IBNS): Railway men were alert as they saved an injured person while he was lying inside Raiwlay track near Bansberia area of West Bengal, officials said.

The driver of 13033 Up Howrah-Katihar Express noticed at 22.50 PM on 13.03.2018 that an injured person was lying inside the Railway track.

He immediately communicated the message to Station Manager, Tribeni who informed Station Manager, Bansberia about the incident as the site was nearer to Bansberia.

Reacting immediately, Station Manager, Bansberia sent an on-duty porter and gangman to the site.

The injured person was taken to Bansberia station where he was rendered first aid and subsequently he was sent to Chuchura hospital by an ambulance along with RPF and a station porter.

This was informed by R. N. Mahapatro, CPRO, Eastern Railway here on Wednesday.
