Ajinkya Rahane's father arrested after car hits woman

Mumbai, Dec 15 (IBNS) : India cricketer Ajinkya Rahane’s father was arrested on Friday after his car ran over and killed a woman, The Indian Express reports.

According to reports, Madhukar Baburao Rahane's car knocked down a  67-year-old woman in Kolhapur.

The woman was taken to the hospital where she was declared dead despite getting attention.

Madhukar was driving the vehicle with his family as they were  headed to Tarkarli, Konkan via Pune-Bengaluru highway when the accident took place.
