After militants attack on Ibobi, Assam police to review Sonowal security

Guwahati, Oct 25 (IBNS): Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal's security will be reviewed by Assam police following militants attack on Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh.

Suspected NSCN(IM) militants on Monday attacked Manipur CM at Ukhrul helipad, but Ibobi Singh escaped unhurt.

Following the militants attack on Manipur CM, Assam police has taken adequate security measures of Assam CM.

“We have taken adequate measures for Assam CM’s security and to review from all angles. We have focused into security threat and not allowed any security lapse,” Assam Police Special DG Kuladhar Saikia said.
