After landslide win in Punjab, AAP to contest in Guwahati Municipal Corporation election

Guwahati/IBNS: After a landslide win in Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is now eying to spread its base in Assam as the party has decided to contest in the forthcoming Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) election.

The GMC election will be held on Apr 19.

The Assam state committee of AAP on Sunday released its first candidate list and on Monday released a second candidate list for the upcoming GMC election.

An AAP leader from Assam said the party will contest in all 60 wards of Guwahati Municipal Corporation election.
