Active Covid-19 cases cross 100-mark in West Bengal, death toll stands at seven

Kolkata/IBNS: With 15 new confirmed cases in last 24 hours, the number of active Covid-19 positive cases in West  Bengal has reached 110 while the death toll due to novel coronavirus in the state remains at seven, according to a data shared by the state health department on Monday night.

West Bengal Health and Family Welfare department officials said that the state had tested 2793 samples so far.

The state government also stated that as many as 422 persons are currently in hospital isolation.

Meanwhile, according to the Union Ministry of Health's Monday evening (5 pm.) update, the total number of Covid-19 confirmed cases in West Bengal has mounted to 152.
