Abusive remark: BJP seeks apology from Kalyan Banerjee
New Delhi, Dec 9 (IBNS): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday demanded an apology in the Lok Sabha from Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee for his objectionable remarks against former prime minister Lal Bahadur Shashtri.
The BJP has also threatened to bring censure resolution against Banerjee.
Banerjee while addressing a public gathering in West Bengal had attacked BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh, who is the grandson of Shastri.
Banerjee had then used offensive language against him.
