7th Assam Pay Commission submits its report

Guwahati, Nov 18 (IBNS): The much awaited 7th Assam Pay Commission submitted its report to the State Government on Friday.

Chairman of the Commission PP Verma submitted the report to Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal at Assam Secretariat.

Finance Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma was also present there.

The 7th Assam Pay Commission was formed in 2015.
         
Besides the Chairman, four Members namely Chief Secretary VK Pipersenia, Secretary to the Government of Assam, Personnel Department Tapan Sharma, Kameshwar Laskar, Professor Dilip Baruah, Member Secretary Simanta Thakuria as Secretary to the Government of Assam, Finance Department and Commissioner and Secretary to the Chief Minister Sanjay Lohia were also present at the event.
