6th India-Chile Foreign Office Consultations held in New Delhi

New Delhi, Oct 31 (IBNS) The sixth round of Foreign Office Consultations between India and Chile was held in New Delhi on Friday.

The Indian delegation was led by R. Swaminathan, Special Secretary (Americas & CPV) and the Chilean delegation was led by Edgardo Riveros Marin, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Chile.

"The two countries share close and friendly bilateral relations. During the FOCs the two sides reviewed the entire gamut of bilateral relations as well as issues of regional and international importance. Political relations, technical cooperation, trade and investment were among the issues discussed. A number of new areas of cooperation were also identified," the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said in a statement.

Leaders of both delegations expressed satisfaction at the successful holding of FOCs, it said.
