4.8 earthquake hits Mizoram, no casualty
Lunglei, Oct 26 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter Scale hit Lunglei area in Mizoram on Wednesday, officials said.
As per the IMD website, the epicentre of the quake was located at latitude .23.1 degrees north and longitude 92.7 degrees east.
The depth of the quake was 45 kms.
The intensity of the quake, which occurred at 11.59 hours, was termed as 'slight' by the IMD.
No casualty has been reported so far.
