3.3 earthquake hit Nepal

Kathmandu, Apr 29 (IBNS): Nepal was hit by a 'slight' intensity earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter Scale on Wednesday, officials said.

The death toll from Saturday's earthquake, measuring 7.9 on the Richter Scale, has crossed 5000, reports said.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the epicentre of the fresh quake was located at latitude  27.6 degree north and 86 degree east at a depth of 13 kilometers.

The quake was felt at 6:52:23 hrs IST.

More Indians have been evacuated from Nepal.

MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted: "More buses on the way. 110 buses of UPRTC enroute for Kathmandu for further evacuation. Yesterday 4000 Indians returned to India via road."
