3-yr-old nursery student allegedly raped in Bangalore

Bangalore, Oct 22 (IBNS): Bangalore relived the trauma of another child abuse in school, when reports surfaced that a 3-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted at a private nursery school a day ago on Tuesday, said reports.

The police lodged a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act 2012 and Section 376 (rape) of Indian Penal Code after receiving a complaint from her father.

The girl who went to the school happy but came back distraught was medically examined but the report is awaited. 

Parents protested over the latest incident in the IT city which witnessed a stir on a similar incident a few months ago. 

A  six-year-old girl was allegedly raped in July by gym instructors within the premises of reputed Vibgyor International School in the city.
