2019 election will be significant, Narendra Modi asks people to chose a “Imandar or Vrastachar govt”

Sundargarh, Apr 6 (UNI) The 2019 elections will be quite significant not only for Odisha but also for the entire country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said and asked the people to take a decision as to whether they want a “Imandar” (honest) government or a “Vrastachar (corrupt) government.”

Addressing a massive election rally here in western Odisha, the third in the state after Jeypore and Bhawanipatna during the last nine days, Modi asked the people “you have seen the Congress government in the past and also witness the last 19 years rule of the BJD government in the state.

“You have the experience the BJP led government at the centre during the last five years and now will see the lotus will bloom in maximum number of seats in Odisha and also at the centre in the elections.

Modi greeted 11 crore BJP workers and leaders across the country on the occasion of party's foundation day today and said their devotion, efforts and hard work will ensure the BJP to form the government with absolute majority.

The Prime Minister asked the people to say whether we should give a befitting reply to the enemy or sit idle like the previous government which could not think of a surgical strike.

He also came down heavily on both the BJD government at the state for indulging regional discrimination. The Congress also did the same thing in Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Jharkhand.

Modi said, even though Odisha has the resources and the people of the state has the capability still the state could not be developed as the government has no clear policy and sincerity.

He asked the people to compare the last 15 years rule of BJP government in Chhattisgarh and 19 years rule of BJD government in the state.

If the Odisha government had the sincerity for the development of the state 50 lakh farmers would not have been deprived of Rs 1,000 crore benefit under the PM Kissan.

The poor people of the state would not have been deprived of free medical treatment up to Rs 5 lakh under the Ayushman Bharat scheme and the number of pucca ghar provided by the centre to the poor people of the state would have been much more than eight lakh, the Prime Minister remarked.
