17-year-old found dead after being raped

Karur, June 24 (IBNS): The Tamil Nadu Police on Tuesday said they have found body of a 17-year-old girl on Monday night in Karur district. The minor was allegedly raped.

According to the police, the teenager used to work in a mosquito net factory.

Her uncle said he found her cycle lying on the road and when he searched the nearby fields, her body was found.
 
He later informed the police who recovered the body.
