13 CRPF men killed in Chhattisgarh Maoist ambush

Raipur, Dec 1 (IBNS) At least 13 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel, including two officers, were killed on Monday in one of the deadliest attacks by Maoists in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh this year, officials said.
While more details of the ambush on the CRPF patrol party are awaited, an official said it occurred at a place which is 10 km south of Chintagufa, in Sukma district.
 
Reports said Maoists used villagers as human shields to attack the CRPF men. 
 
Maoists had fired at an Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopter in the state last month injuring CRPF men and an IAF commando.
