11 people injured after head-on collision between two vehicles in Assam’s Barpeta

Guwahati/IBNS: At least 11 people were injured in a road accident in Assam’s Barpeta district on Monday.

The incident took place at Keotkuchi area in the lower Assam district.

According to the reports, the incident occurred due to a head-on collision between a Tata Mobile bearing the registration number AS-15C-4179 and a tempo with the number license AS-14C-9828) at the area.

11 persons, who were travelling in both vehicles, received injuries and they were rushed to nearby hospital.

Four among them were referred to Barpeta Medical College and Hospital for their severe injuries.
