After a heated-up campaign for weeks, Delhi, the national capital of the country, is voting to elect its new government. While Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is seeking a third term, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which had fielded a battery of saffron leaders to campaign along with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is trying to unseat the ruling party. Amid the fight between the AAP and BJP, Congress is trying to stay relevant in Delhi which was once a stronghold of the grand old party. The results will be declared on Feb 11.

After a slow start, voting in Delhi is gradually picking up with 15.57% voter turnout recorded at 12 noon for the 70-member Delhi assembly.

Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi, party's general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, leader Rahul Gandhi and former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on Saturday exercised their franchise for the 2020 Delhi Assembly polls. Sonia Gandhi has cast her vote at Nirman Bhawan in New Delhi assembly constituency. She was accompanied by Priyanka Gandhi Vadra who has cast her vote at booth no 114 and 116 at Lodhi Estate. Rahul Gandhi cast his vote at polling booth number 81 and 82 at Aurangzeb Road. Former PM Dr Manmohan Singh and his wife Gursharan Singh have cast their vote at Nirman Bhawan.
