Users left frustrated as Whatsapp messenger goes down globally

California, Jan 26 (IBNS) Thousands of users were left angry after messaging app Whatsapp server went down globally early on Tuesday morning, according to reports.

RT.com reported that it caused a social stir as users took to social platforms to vent out their anger.

The shutdown took place at around 8 a.m IST on Tuesday.

Several jokes and memes were also circulated after the shutdown took place, causing a huge laugh riot.
