Hyderabad/IBNS: Pt. Prodyut Mukherjee, renowned Grammy Jury member , Governor's National Awardee & GIMA awardee, recently conducted a transformative music workshop at Autism Ashram, Hyderabad, in collaboration with Sangitanjaly Foundation.

The workshop, themed "Healing Through Music," showcased music's therapeutic potential in supporting emotional expression, communication, and relaxation in autistic children.

Music is a bridge to healing and inclusion. When an autistic child holds the jembe and plays along with the tabla, you see barriers dissolve. In that moment, rhythm becomes language, and compassion becomes the connection. That’s music meeting compassion.” says Abhijeeth Bhattacharjee, Chairman of Sangitanjaly Foundation.

Pt. Prodyut Mukherjee noted, "These workshops calm and heal their minds." The event created a joyful atmosphere, encouraging children to participate and connect.

Music therapy has shown significant benefits for autistic children, including improved communication, emotional regulation, and social skills. Dr. Anil Kundra, President of Autism Ashram, praised the initiative, saying, "Music therapy is a game-changer for autistic children"

Key Highlights:

- Music Therapy Benefits: Improved communication skills, emotional regulation, and social skills
- Therapeutic Approach: Predictable rhythms, minimal sensory overload, and calming tones
