Suhel Seth inaugurates two-day education summit in Kolkata

Kolkata, May 31 (IBNS): Public speaker and Marketing Guru Suhel Seth visited Kolkata to launch an education festival, The Edutainment Show, on Saturday at a city hotel.
Suhel Seth addressed a packed auditorium and imparted his insight on ways to be successful while pursuing a career in the media industry.

Suhel Seth spoke about the tendency of the society towards lobbying and thereby ignoring the works of people who should be celebrated and also emphasized on the importance of speaking the truth.

He said, "Speak your mind. But speak your mind based on research that you believe is right".

He emphasized that the media industry cannot thrive on mediocrity and the need to promote liberal arts education institutes to produce talented bunch of people who can rise above the mediocrity that looms over the media industry.

"For any successful human being, the attention to detail must be unwavering. There can be no compromise" he said.

He added, "We've absolved ourselves from the basic tenets of citizenship" while talking about the drawback of the people in society who are more inclined towards convenience rather than focusing on intellect.

The two-day exhibition and summit is aimed to provide the youngsters the platform to interact with the top industry experts from the fashion, entertainment and media industry.
