Story initiates interaction on healthy lifestyle

Kolkata, Apr 8 (IBNS): Story, a retail initiative in Kolkata by Primarc celebrated World Health Day on Tuesday at its flagship store on Elgin Road.

Story hosted an interactive session on healthy lifestyle for kids with Dr. Ipsita Chakravarti, a nutritionist from Fortis Hospital. The attendees of various age groups heartily participated in the interaction with Dr. Chakravarti.

The people who attended the show had questions ranging from their own age-specific dietary needs to ailment-specific nutrition. Dr. Chakravarti discussed the specific diets to be religiously followed by people whohad high blood-sugar or cholesterol level. She informed the attendees about the importance of food and nutrition in maintaining their over-all health.

She also informed the parents, who attended the session, on how healthy lifestyle choices can ensure that their kids remain healthy and energized. She answered the parents' queries regarding their kids' everyday dietary requirements.

There were several questions raised on Diabetes and the diet that might be followed to keep it in check. Dr. Chakravarti answered them with several suggestions. She urged everyone to completely reduce the intake of junk food.

There are a total of four Story outlets in West Bengal at Elgin road, Diamond Plaza mall, Nager Bazar and Avani river-side mall.
