PMO ensures poor student gets admitted in Bihar public school

PATNA, Nov 3 (TheBiharPost/IBNS): The dream of a poor student to get admission in a premier school has come true after intervention by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).

Divyanshu Kumar, a resident of Muzaffarpur district in Bihar, wanted to be admitted to the DAV public school in Malighat but was too poor to get admission.

He currently studies in Class V in another private school.

The student wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in May this year, seeking his help.

Acting on his appeal, the PMO asked the HRD ministry to look into the matter.

Subsequently, the DAV authorities were told to admit the student.

DAV school principal, Jayshree Ashokan, has asked the student and his parents, to come with relevant documents for admission on Nov 9.

Divyanshu said he is very happy regarding the PMO action.
