Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus monthly games lineup for July 2026, headlined by the blockbuster title Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. Subscribers will also get access to For The King II and CrossCode at no additional cost.

According to the PlayStation Blog, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III features an all-new campaign, modernised versions of classic multiplayer maps, and an expansive open-world PvE Zombies experience.

The campaign, a direct sequel to the record-breaking Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, follows Captain Price and Task Force 141 as they confront ultranationalist war criminal Vladimir Makarov, who is expanding his global influence. The multiplayer mode brings back all 16 maps that originally launched with Modern Warfare 2 in 2009, enhanced with upgraded visuals, new game modes and refined gameplay mechanics.

Meanwhile, Modern Warfare Zombies introduces the franchise's largest Zombies map to date, allowing players to team up with multiple squads for the first time in a cooperative survival experience.

For The King II | PS5, PS4

The second title in July's PlayStation Plus lineup is For The King II, a turn-based roguelite RPG that blends strategy, tabletop-inspired gameplay and cooperative multiplayer.

Set in the kingdom of Fahrul, the game follows the rise of the tyrannical Queen Rosomon, who has enslaved her own people while forging alliances with sinister forces. Players can either embark on the adventure solo or team up with up to four players in co-op as they battle to overthrow the queen and restore peace.

Developed by the creators of the acclaimed For The King, the sequel runs on an upgraded engine, introducing gameplay refinements, new mechanics and an expanded world for both returning fans and newcomers.

CrossCode | PS5, PS4

Rounding out the July lineup is CrossCode, a retro-inspired 2D action RPG that combines nostalgic 16-bit visuals with modern gameplay.

The game features fast-paced combat, fluid physics, intricate puzzle-solving and a compelling sci-fi narrative. Blending classic action RPG mechanics with exploration and challenging dungeons, CrossCode delivers a gameplay experience that appeals to both retro gaming enthusiasts and modern RPG fans.
