Pdt Tarun Bhattacharya ends North American concert series

Kolkata, May 23 (IBNS) Santoor legend Pdt Tarun Bhattacharya, after a stupendous performance at University of Montreal with percussion guru Hindole Majumdar moves to Ashland in the West Coast on May 28 followed by grand finale at Portland, ended his 2 weeks concert tour of USA.

At the Montreal University Santoor Maestro Pdt Tarun Bhattacharya mesmerized the audience with Raag Rageswari in long Alaap and Jor followed by Gat in Teen Taal and fast teen Taal.

The showpiece of the concert was a Benarasi thumri followed by Bengali Kirtan.

The performers received a standing ovation from the packed auditorium.
