Musical legends Anup Jalota and Pandit Prodyut Mukherjee harmonize at IPAF's monsoon extravaganza

The event, part of the "Ritu Chakra Megh Barso Re" Monsoon Festival, showcased the essence of Indian classical and contemporary music.

Anup Jalota, known as the Bhajan Samrat, began the evening with a soul-stirring rendition of the famous bhajan "Aisi Lagi Lagan," followed by Krishna Bhajans such as "Achyutam Keshavam Krishna Damodaram," "Rang De Chunariya," and "Shyam Teri Bansi."

The performance culminated with the timeless Ghazal "Aaj Jaane Ki Zid Na Karo."

Grammy Jury Member and GiMA Award Winner, Pandit Prodyut Mukherjee, joined Anup Jalota on stage, showcasing his unique mouth drumming and tabla skills in a performance titled "Movement of Two Trains Traveling Side by Track." 

Throughout the concert, both artists engaged the audience, encouraging them to participate by singing along, creating a vibrant and memorable experience.

The festival also honored Dr. Khushboo Panchal, a renowned Kathak dancer and youthful influence, with the Nritya Ratan Youth Icon Award, presented by Hon. Justice Pankaj Mithal, Supreme Court of India, and Mr. Shyam Pandey, Founder & CEO of IPAF.
