Kolkata to host Sweden India Nobel Memorial Quiz 2015

Kolkata, Sept 2 (IBNS) Kolkata is all set to host the seventh Qualifying Round of the Sweden India Nobel Memorial Quiz 2015 at the Presidency University on Sept 4.

The 10 city Inter-Collegiate quiz competition is a part of the Sweden-India Nobel Memorial Week, organised by the Embassy of Sweden and partner companies to enhance the image of Sweden in India.

Anna Ferry, Counselor and Head of Section, Trade & Economic Affairs, Embassy of Sweden will grace the occasion

The Sweden India Nobel Memorial Quiz will be bringing together quizzers from across reputed colleges & institutes of the city. Participation to this prestigious Quiz will be open to all Under Graduate & Post Graduate students in teams of three, representing a college.

Winners of the Kolkata round will represent the city at the Grand Finale to be held at New Delhi on Oct 16.

The theme for the ninth edition of The Sweden-India Nobel Memorial Week is Sweden makes in India.

Apart from Kolkata, the regional qualifiers will also be held in Indore, Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Guwahati, Ahmedabad and New Delhi. National winners will get an all-expense paid trip to Sweden, where they will get to visit head quarters of partner companies, universities and the Nobel Museum.

Kunal Savarkar, a mastermind semi-finalist and Content Editor for Kaun Banega Crorepati will be the Quiz Master for the Sweden India Nobel Memorial Quiz 2015.
