IIT Madras tops NIRF rankings for 2021

New Delhi/UNI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has once again topped in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings for the year 2021.

As per the NIRF Rankings 2021, released by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru bagged the second spot, followed by IIT Bombay.

IIT Delhi and IIT Kanpur have bagged fourth and fifth spots, respectively, while Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) was ranked 9th in the rankings.

The rankings were announced under categories which included engineering, pharmacy, management and research.
