Nagaland: Imkongnukla Ao, an accomplished UPSC Civil Service Examination qualifier and Patkai Christian College alumna, delivered a motivational speech at the college's graduation ceremony, emphasizing the importance of perseverance and following one's passions for achieving success.

Addressing the Class of 2023, she urged graduates not to compare their lives with others and to listen to their hearts while considering their intellect, reported Morung Express.

Ao shared personal experiences of overcoming failures and limited resources, encouraging graduates to actively seek opportunities and avoid wasting time on pursuits they don't believe in.

She also stressed the significance of financial literacy, providing both male and female graduates with more choices and a dignified life.

The ceremony, themed "Intelligence Plus Character - That is the Goal of True Education," highlighted the importance of character development rooted in faith.

Dr. Satuo Sekhose Memorial Academic Excellence Award was introduced, honoring Arti Rai, a Bachelor of Commerce student, for achieving the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).

PCC Principal Dr. Thepfuvilie Pierü congratulated the graduates, urging them to uphold the values instilled during their time at the college.

The President of the Alumni Association of Patkai Christian College (AAPCC) officially inducted the graduates as members, fostering a strong alumni network.

The event also celebrated outstanding students with 19 gold medals awarded, and a total of over 450 students graduated from PCC this year.
