Mumbai, Nov 21 (IBNS): Frish, a leading veg frozen foods brand from the WestCoast Group, has launched a lip-smacking frozen Pizza that can be simply cooked on a Tawa in just 7 minutes.

The available Pizzas in the market necessarily need to be heated or cooked in a microwave or OTG.

“The current trends that are driving the consumer market for foods are health, indulgence and convenience. As far as urban consumers are concerned, convenience is the most interesting trend to have gained significance. With Frish’s consistent product innovation model, we have been able to bring snack lovers, products that are easy to cook, healthy and taste fantastic,” said Shivam Gupta, Director, WestCoast Fine Foods (India) Pvt. Ltd, makers of Frish Tawa Pizza.

“Frish Tawa Pizza will be popular with everyone as a convenient back-up meal, party snack, office food or school tiffin. The biggest advantage is, it can be cooked anywhere on a Tawa in no time,” he said.

Amul was the first marketer of frozen Pizza in the country in the early 2000s.

Frish’s Tawa Pizza has been launched in two variants – Tawa Pizza Classico with toppings of onion, green capsicum and cheese (introductory MRP of Rs 99 per 200 gram Pizza) and Tawa Pizza Delight (introductory MRP of Rs 125 per 200 gram Pizza) with toppings of onion, olive, bell pepper, corn and cheese.

The Pizzas have got a good shelf life with absolutely no preservatives or additives used. They are available at all modern and general trade stores. The Tawa Pizzas could also be ordered online on Frozone.in and Cambaytiger.com, e-commerce portals of the WestCoast Group," a company statement said.
