Assam Higher Secondary results announced, Hima Das secures 69.80 per cent marks

Guwahati, May 25 (IBNS): The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) on Saturday announced the results of Higher Secondary (HS) Examination (Class 12), 2019.

This year, a total of 17,88,98 candidates had appeared for the arts stream examination and 13,44,96 of them cleared the examination and the pass percentage is 75.14 per cent.

On the other hand, a total of 17,88,98 candidates had appeared for the science stream examination and 13,44,96 of them cleared the examination and the pass percentage is 75.14 per cent.

In Commerce stream, a total of 17,797 candidates appeared for the examination and 15,589 were passed and the pass percentage is 87.59 per cent.

Indian sensational sprinter Hima Das has also cleared her Class 12 examination by securing 69.80 percent marks.

She got a total of 349 marks in the examination.

Hima Das had appeared in the arts stream examination this year and secured 1st division with letter marks in Assamese subject.
