Tech major Apple on Saturday announced its new iPhone 17 handset will be released during a 'awe-dropping' event on September 9.

The key attention of the event will be the launch of the iPhone 17 Pro Max, the latest device, which will replace its predecessors.

It will be the best iPhone that a person can buy before Apple launches a more advanced device in future.

Expected price of the device in India

The iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to cost Rs. 1,64,990 in India for the base 256GB variant, a whopping increase from the iPhone 16 Pro Max’s Rs. 1,44,990 price tag, reported Hindustan Times.

The smartphone will reportedly be priced $1,249  in the US.

If rumours are to be believed, the price of the phones will witness a significant hike this time.
