Telangana: Pre-monsoon rains brings relief from sweltering heat for people

Hyderabad/UNI:  People in Telangana heaved a sigh of relief as the sweltering heat which gripped the state for the last several days subsided following pre-monsoon rains during the last two days.

The day and night temperatures which were notches above the normal till 48 hours ago too plummeted following the rains to the delight of people.

The rains and thundershowers accompanied by gusty winds with heavy spell at isolated places in the state was expected to continue for the next 3 to 4 days,Meteorological Centre here said on Monday.
