Smriti Irani inaugurates Women Science Congress, highlights need for translating best journals into Indian languages

New Delhi, Jan 5 (IBNS):Union Minister Smriti Irani on Saturday inaugurated the Women Science Congress in Jalandhar and said there is a need to translate some of the best journals into Indian languages.

She said the journals should be then proliferated among university and high school students through the use of Digital technology.

SAhe highlighted the need for bringing more women into science.

She said: "Indian Science Congress should use technology to create a just an vibrant future in S&T to bring more women into science."

The 8th Women Science Congress was inaugurated at India Science Congress at the Lovely Professional University to recognize the contribution of women in science and technology.
