Sex is 'sexercise' and it boosts immunity, says Dr Munjal

Hisar, May 1 (UNI) "Healthy sex boosts immunity in men and women and this natural physical activity should be called 'sexercise'.

Morning hours are best for this activity because it releases very useful hormones in the body," said noted sexologist and psychiatrist Dr Prem Munjal.

Talking to newsmen here on Friday, Dr Minjal said, "These days people have enough time to indulge in sex. Earlier business class had been complaining, the slump spoils the mood and profit days don't give us time for sex. But, now is the new and different situation. Apart from sex the people are now overused to porn which is not a good trend."

He warned that 'idle' couples against the unnatural, unhygienic or perverted sex which can lead them to serious problems.

"Consent of the partner plus foreplay adds pleasure to the act," he said and added that now there is no shortage of contraceptives in the market and couples should be aware of the possibility of unwanted pregnancies.

Dr Munjal says, "In the joint and combined families the elderly couples require privacy and timely medical care and they can also have leisure time with sildenafil tablets. For unmarried youths, and singles, I would say that the powerful sex instinct becomes uncontrollable some time (especially while watching porn) and in that situation the masturbation is answer for male and females both to ventilate the strong urge. This would save them from sin, crime or any unrighteous or injudicious act. The loss of sperms due to masturbation does not create any sort of weakness in the body. This myth should be removed from the psyche of the people."

He said," There should be no aggression, and instead, romantic moments create quality coitus which not only satisfies the partners but makes them healthy too. Exercise, yoga and meditation etc provide relaxation and power to the body and enhance sex power. To treat the sexuality dysfunction effective medicines are available and people should avoid roadside quacks. Psychological counselling is best because most of the problems are removed through counselling alone. Excessive thought of sex is maniac or termed as 'nymphomania'and this sickness requires cure through counselling."

In India the sex education should be started from 8th standard in schools and should be a part of medical education too, he concluded.
