Seven in Hong Kong fall sick after taking China's Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine jabs

At least seven people felt ill after receiving Chinese Sinovac vaccine shots in Hong Kong city, media reports said.

Two of the people were reportedly put in intensive care.

This means a total of 18 people have sought medical attention after receiving the vaccines over the past week, based on a tally of government data, or 0.019 per cent of the approximately 91,800 people who had taken the mainland-produced jabs so far, reports South China Morning Post.

China is believed to be the nation from where COVID-19 virus spread across the globe.
