Wellington/UNI: New Zealand has reported no new cases of coronavirus on Friday, the first time since early August.

The country's largest city, Auckland, has 54 people associated with the community group starting in August. According to the Ministry of Health, they remain in the Auckland Quarantine Facility, which includes 22 people who have tested positive for COVID-19 and their domestic contacts.

There are four people in hospital with coronavirus, including one in ICU, said a ministry statement.

With no new cases to report and seven additional recovered cases, the total number of active cases in New Zealand is 70. Of those, 33 are imported cases in managed isolation facilities, and 37 are community cases, the statement said.

The country's total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 remains at 1,458.
