Manipal Health Enterprises forays into Kolkata with its Medical Information Centre

Kolkata, June 28 (IBNS): Manipal Health Enterprises (MHE), a healthcare provider consolidated on its aggressive pan India expansion plans by setting up a Medical Information Centre (MIC) in Kolkata.

This is second such venture of the group in east India.

The launch was rolled out in the presence of R.D Chakravarty, Consultant, HOD Orthopedics, Manipal Hospitals, Bangalore who has been responsible for manyjoint replacement surgeries.

This Information Center would be a one-stop destination in smaller cities for information on various facets of Manipal Hospitals.

Talking about this special venture R.D Chakravarty said, “Through this MIC we shall bring all the important facets of healthcare delivery under the purview of one. A one of a kind venture, the Information Centre will have lots of facilities to help people with an easy access to MHE. There will be a registration facility and occasionally we also aim to conduct OPD and Outreach clinics.”

Ratheef Naik, Head-Marketing, Manipal Hospitals, Bangalore said, “The market in the East is an extremely important aggregator to our pan-India expansion plan. Every year around thousands of patients from East come to Bangalore for being treated at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore for the quality of treatment and the rich clinical lineage. Our main objective is to create platform to interact/knowledge transfer with patients along with Creation of SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for patients”.
