Maharashtra reports 1,494 Covid-19 cases, single death

Mumbai/UNI: Maharashtra has recorded 1,494 Covid-19 cases and one death, the health bulletin stated Monday.

With the latest cases, the state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 78,93,197 and the death toll stands at 1,47,866.

Meanwhile, 614 people were discharged, taking the overall count of recoveries to 77,38,564.

The state's recovery rate has significantly come down to 98.11% and fatality rate is at 1.87% .

There are 6,767 active patients undergoing treatment in different hospitals, the bulletin said.

In Marathwada region, Aurangabad district has recorded three cases of coronavirus positive cases reported in Aurangabad district.
