Maharashtra: Malegaon reports 20 COVID-19 cases, eight deaths

Nashik/UNI: In the past 12 hours, Malegaon witnessed eight COVID-19 fatalities and detected 20 new cases, stated District Civil Hospital on Monday, and added that the district's pandemic death toll now stands at 28.

Apart from Malegaon, five cases were also found in Niphad taluka. The new cases were found after the reports of 197 individuals were received on Sunday night.

The count of confirmed cases has now surged to 671 among which 63 have been cured.
