Losing weight can be a challenging journey that requires a combination of a balanced diet, regular exercise, and the right fitness strategy.

Now, fitness expert and content creator Prashant has shared what he says is the correct way to perform cardio for those aiming to lose up to 10 kg in 60 days.

In an Instagram video, Prashant wrote: "STOP doing cardio the wrong way ❌ Everyone wants to lose 10 kg fast... But nobody wants to do it the right way."

He cautioned against a common mistake many people make while exercising.

"You jump on the treadmill at full speed 🚀. Ten minutes later, you're exhausted, drenched in sweat, and thinking fat is burning. Reality? It's not. You're simply burning energy, not targeting fat efficiently," he said.

According to Prashant, instead of focusing on high-intensity cardio for a short duration, people should follow a structured routine that emphasizes steady, sustainable fat burning.

Recommended weekly cardio schedule

Monday, Wednesday & Friday: Incline treadmill workout

Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday: Elliptical trainer workout

He concluded his advice with a simple message: "Don't chase sweat. Chase results. Slow down. Stay longer. Burn more fat."
