India's COVID-19 death toll touches 16893

New Delhi/IBNS: India reported 418 deaths due to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours as the death toll due to the highly infectious disease in the country now stands at 16893, revealed official data released on Tuesday.

With  18,522 new cases reported, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country now stands at 5,66,840.

There are 215125 active cases in India right now.

334821 people have recovered from the disease.

Meanwhile, Indian PM Narendra Modi will address the nation at 4 pm.
