India reports 30,757 new COVID-19 cases, 541 deaths in 24 hours

New Delhi/UNI: India recorded 30,757 new COVID-19 cases during the past 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on Thursday.

According to the bulletin issued by the Ministry, the total caseload rose to 4,27,54,315, while the death toll rose to 5,10,413 as 541 succumbed to the disease.

On a positive note, 67,538 more people have recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 4,19,10,984.

The recovery rate stands at 98.03%.

The active caseload stands at 3,32,918, the figures showed.

As per the bulletin, 75.55 crore tests for COVID-19 have been done so far.

India has so far administered 174.24 crore anti-COVID-19 vaccine doses so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive.
