India records over 30,000 fresh COVID infections in last 24 hours

New Delhi/IBNS: India recorded 30,773 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry informed on Sunday.

In positive news, the country's active cases presently account for 0.99 percent of total cases.

At present, India's active caseload stands at 3,32,158 while the recovery rate is currently at 97.68 pct.

The country registered 38,945 recoveries in the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries to 3,26,71,167.

Meanwhile, 80.43 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
