India records biggest jump in COVID-19 cases in 24 hours, death toll touches 1147

New Delhi/IBNS: India witnessed the biggest jump in the number of COVID-19 positive cases in the past 24 hours as the figures now stand at 35,043.

In the past 24 hours, India has recorded fresh 1993 cases.

The country also recorded 73 deaths in the past 24 hours, taking the tally to 1147.

The number of active cases in India now stands at 25007.

So far, 8888 people have recovered from COPVID-19 in the country.
