India records 37, 154 COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours

New Delhi:  India, which witnessed a deadly second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, reported 37,154 new cases in the last 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Monday.

During the same period, 724 people died due to the virus, taking the total death toll to 408764.

More than 3 crore total recoveries across the country so far.

Recovery Rate has increased to 97.22%.

39,649 patients recovered during the last 24 hours.

India's Active Caseload currently stands at 4,50,899.

Active cases constitute 1.46% of total cases.

Weekly Positivity Rate remains below 5%. It currently stands at 2.32%.

Daily positivity rate at 2.59%, less than 3% for 21 consecutive days.
