India records 18,833 COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India, the nation which witnessed a deadly second wave of the COVID-19, registered 18,833 new cases in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday.

India's active caseload stands at 2,46,687.

It is the lowest figure in 203 days.

Active cases account for less than 1 percent of total cases.

The figure currently stands at 0.73 percent.

Recovery Rate is currently 97.94 percent.

24,770 recoveries registered in the last 24 hours.
